At a possible25 ft high jump, Furon lower part

Description

Very close to the city down town and Lyon, Furon lower part is the only canyon accessible by bus or bike from Grenoble surroundings, interesting advantage for those who do not have a car!

A very diversified canyoning route in Vercors which is one of the references of canyoning in Grenoble with beautiful obstacles of big dimensions.

It is the first Isère canyon known since the 90s. If it is a little shorter in length than the Furon upper part, the obstacles, the jumps and abseiling, are a little higher.

For example, we’ll abseil down a 66 ft high descent at the Tuff waterfall, we will slide in several siphons, not mandatory, and if the you want, it’ll be possible to jumps up to 40 ft high, that is not mandatory!

The water temperature in the Furon Canyon lower part is colder than on the upper part. Indeed, there, the cold water resurgence of the “Cuves de Sassenage” tanks pours into the canyon.

You can choose to continue on the upper part of the Furon to realize the Integral Furon.

This canyon descent is suitable for groups such as hen/stag parties, corporate groups or leisure centers groups. Several start points and exits are possible, and you can too bypass some of the passages to do the canyon at your level and thus, offer a tailor-made experience.
