Description

The Cuves de Sassenage are accessible by public transport from Grenoble to Sassenage.

From the parking lot, in town, the walking up takes 15mn along the Furon canyon, lower part.

The entrance leads to the lower part of the Furon canyon.

This cave is known as the “Seventh Dauphiné wonder”

Différent ways get you on this journey, wide galleries, narrows corridors, on all fours passages, siphons which water come from the famous “Gouffre Berger” cave in the vercors mountain range.

No, we can not go to the cave in case of heavy rain or snowmelt the day or 2 days before the outing.

Accessible to beginners. Minimum age is 10 years old.

Yes, it is very easy to reach, the same access as the lower part of the Furon because the parking lot is the same. From Grenoble, take tram A to Terminus "Fontaine la Poyat" From the Terminal, there are 2 ways : either by Bus (5min) or on foot (22min). Find: more details on the route.

L'emplacement des cuves est intéressant car il est à proximité de Grenoble et de Lyon, ce qui en fait un lieu proche de nombreuses entreprises de ce secteur.

Il y a de nombreux restaurants à proximité pour organiser un repas avant ou après l'activité.
