Underground night - Discovery massif du Vercors
Description Program
Meet at 6pm with your guide to prepare for the adventure and distribute the gear carrying duties.
Approach hike (40min / 300m elevation gain) on a trail at sunset, with a beautiful section secured with a via corda to reach the spectacular entrance of the cave. Equip yourself in caving gear and enter this majestic tunnel with a 40m negative elevation gain.
Proceed underground to the bivouac site. Set up the temporary base camp and prepare dinner (fondue Savoyarde). Enjoy a friendly dinner around an excellent fondue Savoyarde before slipping into your sleeping bags. In the morning, have breakfast and pack up the bivouac.
Return and end of the experience in the early morning.
We recommend signing up in pairs for two reasons: - Confirm the outing upon booking - Easier to accommodate your availability
Specific gear to include: ground mat, sleeping bag, water (at least 1.5 liters per person), hiking boots or trail running shoes, tracksuits/technical underwear, fleece, down jacket, beanie, warm socks, neck warmer.
To further enhance this adventure, we offer the sensational underground night version, where in addition to the bivouac, you will enjoy half a day of exploration. This formula is ideal for caving enthusiasts.
